Dress Code

Saddleworth Golf Club aims to operate a contemporary and forward thinking dress policy, commensurate with a modern day golf club. It is in all our interests to maintain reasonable standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions. Golfers at Saddleworth Golf Club are therefore made aware that the following are required standards that must be adhered to, both on the golf course and in the clubhouse.

CLOTHING

Correct golf attire must be worn at all times which excludes trainers and T shirts. Trousers must not be tucked into socks and footwear. Denim jeans, t-shirts, cargo or combat trousers/shorts, tracksuits, rugby and football shirts are not permitted on the course or in the clubhouse at any time. Tailored shorts are allowed on the course and in the Clubhouse.

Flip-flops, and sandals without socks are not allowed Clothing that may have endured the rigours of golfing for example wet or muddy garments must be changed out of before entering any lounge, bar or dining areas. Coats and other outdoor clothing should be left in changing rooms. Hats should be removed in the Clubhouse.

MOBILE PHONES

Mobile phones are not permitted to be used for making or receiving calls in any lounge or dining areas. They are permitted to be used for calls elsewhere, including the hallways and changing rooms.

Mobile phones can be used anywhere in the clubhouses for other purposes such as text, emails, internet access but must be kept in silent mode.

Mobile phones on the golf course are for emergency use only.On the Golf Course.
